SUMMARY:[Drive] Tail of the Dragon & Cherohola Skyway
DESCRIPTION:BPCA drive to Tail of the Dragon and the Historic Tapoco Lodge in Robinsonville via the beautiful and scenic Cherohala Skyway. \nWe will meet up at the Town Center Mall – Macy’s lot. We will depart from this rally point and take scenic roads to Telico Plains TN where we will have lunch at the Telico Grains Bakery. From there we will drive the Cherohala Scenic Parkway enjoying some of the views from its overlooks. \nWe will complete the skyway and arrive out our destination in time for check in at the Tapoco Lodge. \nOnce settled we will tame the Tail of the Dragon\, and dependent on time visit the Fontana Dam. \nWe will return to the lodge where we will enjoy excellent food and drinks alongside the river on which the lodge is nestled.
